We respect your privacy. Here’s the simple truth:
- —Your conversation history with The Reload’s AI coaching tool is saved to your account so you can pick up where you left off
- —We don’t sell your data to anyone
- —We collect the bare minimum needed to process your payment and give you access
- —Your coaching conversations are processed by Anthropic’s API, which deletes API inputs and outputs within 7 days and never uses them for AI training
- —Conversation history stored in your account is retained until you delete your account or request deletion
By accessing or using the Reload, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Who We Are
The Reload is an AI-powered coaching tool and digital product operated by Obsidian Jax Capital LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in the United States (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and The Reload.

2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- —Account information: Email address and password when you create an account
- —Payment information: When you purchase access, your payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).
- —Conversation history: Messages you send to and receive from The Reload’s AI coaching tool are saved to your account in order to provide conversation history persistence across sessions.
- —Information you share in coaching conversations: Conversations with The Reload’s AI coaching tool may involve sensitive personal information, including details about your physical health, fitness goals, body composition, mental health, relationships, sexual behavior, family dynamics, professional life, and other personal matters. This information is shared at your discretion as part of the coaching relationship. It is processed and stored under the same terms as all other conversation content (see Section 3). The Reload is built to receive this kind of disclosure; you should provide only the information you are comfortable sharing.
- —Lead-magnet sign-ups: If you submit your email through the lead capture form on our site, your email address is stored in our database (Supabase) so we can send you the requested resource (currently a free skincare guide). We do not store any other information from the lead capture form — no name, no source page, no marketing opt-in field. Your email is retained until you unsubscribe (using the link included in the email we send you) or request deletion.
- —Communications: If you email us for support, we retain those messages to respond to you. Support emails are retained for up to 2 years and then deleted.
Information collected automatically:
- —Server logs: Standard server logs automatically collected by our hosting provider (Vercel), including page views, IP address, device type, browser type, and date and time of access. We do not use dedicated analytics software or tracking scripts.
- —Cookies: We use essential session cookies only — required to keep you logged in. No advertising cookies, no tracking cookies.
Information we do NOT collect:
- —We do not actively collect biometric data, health records, or other sensitive personal information outside of what you choose to share in coaching conversations (see “Information you share in coaching conversations” above)
- —We do not store full credit card details, CVV codes, or payment credentials
3. How Your Conversations Are Processed and Stored
Carter is an artificial intelligence system, not a human coach. All responses are generated by an AI model. This disclosure is made in compliance with California Business and Professions Code §17940 et seq. (the Bolstering Online Transparency Act) and similar disclosure requirements.
When you send a message to The Reload’s AI coaching tool, here is what happens:
- —Your message is transmitted to Anthropic’s API for processing and a response is generated in real time
- —Anthropic automatically deletes API inputs and outputs within 7 days and does NOT use API data for model training — this is a flat policy with no opt-in or opt-out
- —The content of your conversation (your messages and the AI’s responses) is saved to your account in our Supabase database to enable conversation history persistence — meaning when you return to The Reload, your previous conversation is available to continue
- —Conversation history is associated with your account and is retained until you delete your account or request deletion
- —You can start a fresh conversation at any time using the “New” button in the chat interface — your prior conversation history remains stored but is no longer the active session
- —You may request deletion of your conversation history at any time by emailing info@thereloadai.com
Carter is designed for coaching, not crisis intervention or clinical treatment. When conversations involve topics outside Carter’s coaching scope — including mental health crises, medical conditions requiring professional treatment, or other situations requiring licensed care — Carter is built to refer users to appropriate professional resources. These conversations are processed and stored under the same terms as all other conversations. Users experiencing a crisis are encouraged to seek qualified professional help. In the United States, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7.

4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- —Process your payment and grant you access to the service
- —Send you transactional emails (purchase confirmation, password reset)
- —Send you the resource you requested through the lead capture form (currently a free skincare guide)
- —Save and restore your conversation history across sessions
- —Respond to support requests
- —Ensure compliance with legal obligations
- —Understand general usage patterns to improve the service (aggregate analytics only)
We do NOT use your information to:
- —Sell to third parties
- —Send marketing emails
- —Build advertising profiles
- —Train AI models

6. Data Retention
- —Account information: Retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
- —Payment records: Retained as required by tax and financial regulations (typically 7 years for US tax purposes). This is managed by Stripe.
- —Conversation history: Retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your conversation history at any time by emailing info@thereloadai.com. Conversation history is permanently deleted when your account is deleted.
- —Lead-magnet sign-ups: Email addresses collected through the lead capture form are retained until you unsubscribe (using the link in the email you receive) or request deletion by emailing info@thereloadai.com.
- —Support emails: Retained for up to 2 years, then deleted.
Unless otherwise noted herein, we retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to:

7. Your Rights

For European Residents (GDPR)
Our legal basis for processing your data is: (a) performance of a contract (providing the service you purchased), and (b) legitimate interest (basic analytics to improve the service). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:

- —Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor
- —Conversation history and account data is stored in Supabase, which implements row-level security ensuring users can only access their own data
- —Access to administrative accounts is protected by strong authentication
No system is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Reload is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. At checkout, users must confirm they are 18 or older before completing purchase. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on our website with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Reload after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
